This project started as an accident. I was just shooting randomly objects at my friends place and I took quite a few macro textures of a rusty goblet. Amazed by richness of these textures, one picture stood out from others (Arms cut off by the steel). That image existed as is, without any digital modification, except contrast and colours, everything else was there. Person on that picture reminded me on N. American Indian (with arms cut off). Symbolicism of that fact was too strong - that kind of picture depicted in metal, and metal being introduced by white people who cut of arm of Indians with their swords and axes (symbolically and literary) - I had to look forward. I looked at the other pictures and magic started to unfold in front of me - whole symbolic evil of human life was on the surface of just one metal goblet!

As a counter balance, I tried to paint anti theme - one abstract birth of human being, originated from universe and therefore depicting the Creator, which before gets sentenced to the steel world contains in itself seeds of innocence (with shades of darkness).
